Vancouver Candidate Leads a Posse to Kill the Frankenstein Capitalist Monster!

This post will be a slight departure from my usual posts.  First off, the drama isn't even set in the USA.  It's also not the pressing disaster that the internet has become so ripe with in the past year.  Never has the phenomenon that every generation believes the world will end in its life span been so apparent as on the internet this year.

The link I've posted below this paragraph is a portal that leads to a call for action.  The title of the event: "Rally for a Mansion Tax: Tax the Rich to Help the Rest of Us."  Intrigued by the lovely Canadian sentiment, I felt pressed to read on.  The plan's synopsis led by "Jean Swanson for Vancouver City Council" was a fairy-tale march from a park rallying point to the Beast's evil castle.  The beast in question was Chip Wilson , founder of Lulu Lemon and serial job-creator and innovator of useful products for people the world over.

RALLY FOR A MANSION TAX

Despite the rally's enthusiasm, they seem to have left out what legally defines a "mansion."  They also seem to have left out that they're LITERALLY running a person out of town (like the villagers toting torches to Frankenstein's Lab) who could employ a substantial number of people while paying just the plain, ordinary non-mansion taxes.

Mired in the toxic allure of socialistic wealth redistribution, people seem to forget that people have to do something useful to accrue wealth.  They have to make products and jobs.  Then once they've accrued wealth and realize cash isn't much good except for burning for warmth and spending, they use that wealth to distribute it in exchange for other people's useful goods and services.

I have no idea what would cause people to hate the notable philanthropist for "exploiting" his way to success through multiple consensual economy stimulating ventures, but I'll leave with a couple quotes from the discussion page of the Rally.

One prideful gentleman suggested an alternative to the Rally saying
"Get a f--king job."
Another responded in a snarky Marxist tone:
"It's sad. I'm going to assume you don't own a 5 million dollar home, B---t. So why are you sacrificing yourself for people who don't care about you? It's a little pitiable tbh."

It's true.  They don't care about you.  They don't care to put you down or pick you up.  I'm unaware of the sacrifice of the first gentleman required for Chip Wilson to buy a mansion, but I've got to assume all sorts of problems arise when people abandon self-reliance.

Beware, America.  Marxism is a slippery slope.
